New features, updates, and fixes released in the month of April, 2023.
New Features
Base year studies can now be created to ease the data entry for R&D studies that are just used to calculate QREs for a base-year. These studies do not calculate a credit and decrease the required qualification questions for projects.
Expert Review change tracking has been added to highlight changes that have been made in a study between the various revision steps. This feature will take a snapshot when revisions are requested so these can be compared to the current state of the study.
Updated the credit calculation to support adjustments for short fiscal years. The calculation takes this into consideration for short-years both in the base period and if the study year is a short-year. Calculation details in the summary page and PDF report are also updated to show the extra calculation details if a short year is present.
Existing Feature Updates
Added support for Service Providers to include numbers and dashes in their white-labelled subdomain.
Moved the Grants and Funding amount entry to the business update page, consolidating information entry to less pages.
Fixes
Removed the ability to edit expenses directly in the table when a study is locked.
